The deck stains vary, the graphic ink colors vary and there will be obvious areas that these are hand-painted, including possible drips, mis-registrations, finger prints or bleeds. This is what makes them AMAZING and they are!!!

This is the second Icarus deck I bought. I love a lot if the brand-x toxic stuff, but the Icarus shape just might be my favorite. I have one with the x-con graphic as well as the riot stick graphic. Boards are always solid and Graphics are always on point at brand-x. As a taller guy I really love the longer wheel base. I ride my trucks pretty loose, so I really appreciate the wheel wells in this design. 5 out of 5. No question.
The first “real” skateboard I ever rode, was a Brand-X Knucklehead, back in 1985, when I was 14. It belonged to my best friend at the time, as my mom was too poor to afford to buy me a good skateboard. I fell in love with that board, and swore that one day I would own a Brand-X deck. Well, it took me until I was 50, but better late than never. My wife got this deck for me for Christmas of 2021 - and I built it about a month later.
Out of the 15 or so decks I own, from different manufacturers, my Brand-X Icarus X-Con is my absolute favorite. From the construction, to the graphics; everything about this deck is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend picking one up for yourself. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
This was my first deck that I purchased from Brand-X. I got the black stain and the colors really popped. Love the shape and feel of the board.
I purchased the Orange stain and the Natural. I ride the natural and the orange stain is on the wall. Such an awesome graphic to go along with the perfect shape.
